Wow! I must be rich and just didn't know it.

It was reported this week that 47% of American families did not have to pay any taxes for the tax year 2009. Since I paid $2,073.00 that must mean I'm part of that rich segment of the population that President Obama wants to take from so he can implement his socialist plan of re-distributing the wealth. Wonder why I don't feel rich? Maybe because my gross income was only $32,525 including social security. Doesn't quite seem fair to me that a family making $80,000 should be getting a credit to buy health insurance, or that everyone with children should be getting child care credits in addition to a dependents deduction, or those that didn't pay anything should be getting an un-earned income credit! But that's life in the good ole USA today. You know I'll soon be 76 years old. I was born during the great depression. You know that period of time all the politicians talk about but don't really know a damn thing about. I start earning my own money when I was 12 by shinning shoes in a barber shop at 15 cents per shine. Next I had a paper route. Then I gave that up for more money by working in my uncle's pool hall...sweeping floors, stoking the furnace twice day, cleaning pool tables and the balls, and washing spittoons twice a week all for $5.00 a week. What I'm saying is I really don't have much sympathy for all the sob stories. In other words get off your fat asses and go earn a living and pay for your kids needs without the government doing it for you or else keep you panties on and your zippers zipped or use birth control. I raised 5 children and never received a dime of assistance. I can hardly believe the socialism that has already occurred and this President and his progressive liberal democratic party want more? Oh!, by the way those 5 children I raised on a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman's pay, they are all doing just great. Own their own homes and earned every bit of it themselves. Why should they and others like them have to pay more taxes to support the deadbeats who think the government owes them a living! To hell with that. Also to hell with your socialist agenda Mr. President. By the way Mr. President whatever happened to that promise you made to the senior citizens of the United States when you needed their votes to get elected. You remember that promise you made about " senior citizens who earn less than $50,000 a year will pay NO TAXES", You lied! And that sir is a fact senior citizens will remember on November 6, 2012.

One final thought for you today Mr. President. Since you are "The Commander-in-Chief" of the Armed Forces of the United States. That's "Hospital Corpsman" not Corpseman. Spelled 'Corps' not 'Corpse". You can check that out with any U.S. Marine or Sailor.
