Finally August recess for congress. How about all of you LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE, for a change.
Public dissent whether organized or spontaneous is still freedom of speech. It seems to me that democrats believe you have to be one or you're un-american. I for one resent this attitude. Democracy begins with heartfelt differences of opinion!
Maybe all of you should start by reading the bills in the committees. After that perhaps a good economics 101 book will help you figure out how you're going to pay for the Health care reform you're shoving down the throat of the American people.
A little advice to all you Congressmen and Senators....YOU better be listening to the people that's for damn sure, else you can forget about re-election in 2010. That's what your most concerned about! Isn't it?

Rick, you seem to love free speech just as long as you agree with it. Public dissent whether organized or spontaneous is still freedom of speech. It seems to me that democrats believe you have to be one or you’re un-American. As a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer, I for one resent this attitude. Democracy begins with heartfelt differences of opinion! As far as the Nazi swastika is concerned all I’ve seen are people with signs showing a crossed out swastika that to me means they do NOT agree with them. You seem to think it means they do support them. I’m an independent but I feel certain you look at independents as far right extremists. The liberal bias of CNN was evident last night when all the liberal commentators gave President Obama and the democrats grades of A and B while the public gave them C’s. Why don’t all of you at CNN that portray yourselves as unbiased reporters be honest and declare you political affiliations publicly? I give only Lou Dobbs of CNN an A for honest reporting.
