I HAVE A DREAM!
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Washington, DC, on August 28, 1963

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

Was she judged by the content of her character?

Miss California 2009 One can't help but wonder what the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. would have to say about how Miss California was 'JUDGED' in the Miss USA contest held in Las Vegas, NV Sunday, April 19, 2009.

I Think her answer to the question she was asked spoke volumes with respect to HER character. She did not cave into the political correctness argument. Instead she stood up for her beliefs knowing in her heart her answer would cost her the title of Miss USA.

See the question at the bottom of this page. Then judge for yourself.

While the question itself spoke to the character of the Judges! Especially that of Perez Hilton's. This question is so prejudicial that a "NO" answer would automatically eliminate any contestant who uttered that response. Mr. Hilton knew full well that the young lady was a student at San Diego Christian College. Therefore he knew without any doubts whatsoever what her answer would be.
This was no contest to fairly select Miss USA.
To the contrary it was a biased platform to promote the homosexual beliefs and agenda of Perez Hilton and the gay community.

The Irony of the whole thing is that Miss California, Perez Hilton, Shanna Moakler who is a former Miss USA and current director of the Miss California USA pageant and a host of other people who did not like the answer Miss California gave to the question she was asked were all exercising their constitutional right of free speech as provided under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Just as Dr. King exercised his rights in 1963. As I am here today. As American citizens all of us, "We The People", have the right to freedom of thought and the freedom to express those thoughts publicly.
EXCEPT FOR HATE SPEECH.
I for one think Perez Hilton hates hetrosexual people. His name calling of Miss California after the contest was completed would seem to indicate he does. Perez Hilton was also enraged, calling Prejean a "stuipd bitch" in a video tirade he aired on his blog. Of course there will be no legal action taken againest Mr. Hilton because he is admittly gay and I suppose therefore immune.

However, you do not have the right to rig the outcome of a national competition.

Which is exactly what happened when Perez Hilton acting in the capacity of an official competition judge asked such a prejudicial question of a contestant. The answer to which was designed to eliminate her or force her to publicly support gay rights. I for one call that cheating. Rigging the outcome the Miss USA contest may not be illegal, but it sure as hell is UN-AMERICAN. Believe whatever you want.
Just don't lie about the facts.
The Majority of Americans by a margin of more than 2 to 1 believe marriage is a union between one man and one woman. PERIOD.

Here's The Question

At the Miss USA beauty pageant last Sunday, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton asked Miss California, Carrie Prejean, a question about gay marriage. The query was if she thought all 50 states should follow Iowa and Vermont in legalizing gay marriage.

On live, prime-time television, Prejean responded, "We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what? I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

As of today four states; Connecticut, Massachusetts, Iowa, and Vermont recognize gay marriage as legal.
FORTY-SIX STATES DO NOT!
And one state, Arizona, has a constitutional amendment prohibiting gay marriage. Those are the FACTS!

In case you're new to this site let me first say, "Welcome" whether you agree with me or not. But this is a personal web page where I express myself. "The Chief's Chiefs Corner" can get extremely hot at times as I say what I feel here as well as what I think. My Privilege since it's my page and I am exercising MY First Amendment Rights of Free Speech.

Here IS what I believe:

1. Requiring Miss USA contestants to support gay rights as a requirement for winning the competition seems to me...
to be UN-AMERICAN.

2. Miss California, Carrie Prejean. will one day stand before GOD and HE will render the HIS final judgement. I believe it'll go something like this:
And Jesus said, "Know that they persecuted me before you. Well Done, Good and Faithful servant. Enter into the Glory of God."

3. Mr. Hilton you too will stand before GOD and HE will render HIS final judgement on you also.
In my opinion Mr. Hilton, You, are headed for hell where you will burn for eternity. However, there is still time for you to change that outcome. You can repent of your sins and Jesus Christ will forgive you and save your soul. But unfortunately for you, Perez, you do not believe it.
