Hello World

Economic Stimulus Bill of 2009
Wow! I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am that I am now able to help support free medical care for children without it. Of course I have to thank the United States Congress and the President for providing this new opportunity due to the passage of the new federal tax of 60 cents per pak on cigarettes which took effect on April 1, 2009.
The truth of the matter is I really don't mind helping provide the medical care for disavantaged children. What I detest is the government taking advantage of my nicotine addiction to force me to pay the tax while knowing full well smoking is an addiction and those who have it are people who can least afford the tax. I also resent the fact that none of the money from this new tax will be spent to help those of us addicted to nicotine quit smoking. Of course this is of no consequence to the great, non-smoking privileged ones who have the power to tax the people who do smoke. I wonder what they are going to sacrifice personally to help provide medical coverage for those who can't afford it? My guess is it's absolutely nothing.
Finally I can't help but wonder what our founding fathers: Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, even Adams of Massachusetts might think about taxing tobacco. I have a feeling there might be some serious ass kicking going on. They might even slap a few of the bastards across the face with a glove and demand a duel at mornings first light.
In those days dueling was legal in these United States. Too bad it isn't today.
To all of you who voted for Obama and the democrats congradulations you've again proved you are the tax and spend party, just so long as it's not you who is being taxed. Oh! one final thought for you..... SCREW YOU TOO. And I don't give a rat's ass if your family, friend, or foe.
Price of a carton of Cigarettes in Arizona on April 2, 2009 is $59.49.
